When you think of successful gaming streamers who've built their careers from the ground up, Celine Cheung—better known as starsmitten—represents the kind of authentic journey that resonates with viewers. Starting her Twitch channel back in 2014, she's evolved from someone experimenting with different games to a Twitch Partner with nearly 350,000 followers who tune in regularly to watch her gameplay and personality shine through.

League of Legends became starsmitten's signature game, where her skills and entertaining commentary created a loyal fanbase. However, she's never been one to limit herself to a single title. Her streaming journey took an interesting turn when she began posting regularly with Fortnite content in June 2018, showing her adaptability in the ever-changing gaming landscape. More recently, she's made waves in the Rust community, currently ranking as the #12 Rust streamer on the platform—no small feat in such a competitive space.

What sets starsmitten apart isn't just her gaming prowess, but her consistency and authentic connection with viewers. In the past month alone, she's streamed for over 136 hours, maintaining an average of 1,634 viewers per stream with peaks reaching over 11,000. Her all-time viewer record of 48,040 concurrent viewers in July 2021 demonstrates the kind of community engagement that many streamers spend years trying to achieve. The quote on her profile—"I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then"—hints at someone who embraces growth and change.

Beyond Twitch, starsmitten has expanded her presence across multiple platforms, building a substantial Instagram following of over 190,000 people. Her association with Team Dignitas has elevated her profile in the competitive gaming scene, and collaborations with other streamers like AngelsKimi show her willingness to engage with the broader creator community. These partnerships often result in entertaining content that showcases different sides of her personality beyond solo gameplay.

At 31 years old, this Gemini from the United States has carved out a unique niche in the streaming world. Her journey from experimenting with different games to becoming a recognizable name in multiple gaming communities reflects the dedication required to succeed on Twitch. With her ranking at #3672 globally on the platform in 2025, starsmitten continues to prove that authentic content and consistent engagement can build lasting success in the competitive world of live streaming.
