Brawadis Twitch VODs & Stream Recordings

Brandon Awadis has carved out a unique niche in the crowded world of YouTube content creation, building a massive following through his genuine love for basketball and relatable personality. Better known by his online handle Brawadis, this San Diego native has amassed over 6 million subscribers since launching his channel in April 2015. What started as NBA reaction videos has evolved into a diverse content empire spanning vlogs, pranks, challenges, and basketball commentary that keeps his audience coming back for more.

The Phoenix Suns hold a special place in Awadis's heart, despite growing up in San Diego where there's no NBA franchise. His passion for the team runs so deep that he describes himself simply as "i love the suns" on his Twitch profile, where he's gathered 136,000 followers. This isn't just casual fandom either - Awadis studied journalism with an emphasis in media studies in college, positioning himself as an aspiring NBA analyst who even writes as the Phoenix Suns Team Manager for VAVEL. His first YouTube video was actually an NBA reaction that now has over 150,000 views, setting the tone for the basketball-focused content that would become his trademark.

Family plays a central role in Awadis's content and success story. He's the older brother of FaZe Rug, one of YouTube's biggest gaming personalities, and the two frequently collaborate across their channels. Their parents, affectionately known to fans as Mama Rug and Papa Rug, regularly appear in videos and have become beloved figures in their own right. Born on June 23, 1995, Awadis has been relatively open about his personal relationships, including his past relationship with Jackie Figueroa from 2015 to 2017, and his more recent relationship with Jasmine that lasted from 2022 into late 2023.

What sets Awadis apart from other creators is his authentic, unfiltered approach to content. Rather than polished, over-produced videos, he delivers genuine reactions and commentary that make viewers feel like they're hanging out with a friend. His content mix includes everything from NBA analysis to family vlogs, pranks with his brother, and reaction videos that showcase his natural charisma. The consistency has paid off - he celebrated milestones like 10,000 and 50,000 subscribers while still attending college, proving that his dedication to both education and content creation could coexist.

While Awadis was last active on Twitch about two months ago, his YouTube presence remains strong, continuing to serve his dedicated "BrawadSquad" community. His journey from a college journalism student with NBA dreams to a multi-million subscriber YouTuber demonstrates how passion, consistency, and authenticity can build a genuine connection with audiences. In an era where content creators often chase trends, Awadis has stayed true to his basketball roots while expanding his creative horizons, proving that sometimes the best strategy is simply being yourself.
