She held the title of Miss Rostro (Miss Face) 2021 and built a substantial following of nearly 200,000 across TikTok and Instagram under the handle @v___marquez.
Her content primarily focused on beauty tutorials, makeup tips, personal care routines, fashion insights, and travel experiences. She showcased a visual style that combined modern aesthetics with traditional Mexican design elements, which attracted various brand partnerships including jewelry brand Golden Deluxe and shapewear company Beauty Body Level.
Beyond content creation, Márquez was a successful businesswoman who owned Blossom the Beauty Lounge, a beauty salon in Zapopan, Jalisco, offering services for nails, eyelashes, and hair. She had studied dentistry before transitioning to cosmetology and establishing her salon in 2024.
Her content often featured luxury lifestyle elements, including photos from private jets and yachts, appealing to audiences interested in aspirational beauty and lifestyle content. She was known for creating relatable content that resonated particularly well with youth audiences in western Mexico.
Tragically, on May 13, 2025, while live streaming from her beauty salon, Valeria was shot and killed.
